Was very excited to see this review of my movie Nightfall.

I remember that we shot it in Alta Dena just in the hills above Pasadena, California. It was about half an hour drive up into the hills from Los Angeles and since it was night and we shot it in early spring, it was a bit cooler than you might think. The very hot heaters were just off camera at any time so we felt warm.

Gay Comic Geek does a great review. Very glad he loved it so much and Jasun was an amazing director. The movie looks better than I imagined it would when he told me about it.

Yes, we actually do that on pretty much every shoot. It’s how we get to build up the sexual energy and tension. Sex Boys: O que você fazia antes de virar ator pornô?
Dario Beck: Bem, eu estudei arte dramática com especialização em atuação em cinema e comecei a trabalhar como modelo aos 17 anos. Fiz um monte de campanhas para publicidade e moda e também trabalhei como ator de tevê e filmes convencionais. 

SB: Há algum tipo de preconceito por parte das pessoas quando sabem de seu trabalho?
DB: No geral, achei muito boa a reação. As pessoas ficam curiosas, me fazem muitas perguntas. Como eu tenho orgulho da minha sexualidade e do que eu faço, me respeitam por isso.

SB: Você tem um corpo bem-trabalhado. Qual o segredo?
DB: Gosto de esportes, ir à academia três ou quatro vezes por semana, e minha dieta é muito variada, mas procuro fazer isso de forma natural.

SB: Muitos atores pornôs se definem como bissexuais. É seu caso?
DB: Não. Sou gay mesmo. Fiz sexo com mulheres, mas, aos 16 anos, tive a minha primeira relação sexual com um amigo da escola em seu carro. Percebi que eu gostava mesmo era de homens.

SB: Frequenta a noite gay?
DB: Não saio muito, mas, às vezes, meus amigos me convencem. Quando tenho um tempo, acabo indo com eles.

SB: Percebi que você não parece ter problema algum em ser ativo ou passivo em cena…
DB: Sim, eu sou versátil. Não tenho nenhum problema em fazer os dois e, na minha vida pessoal, gosto quando encontro um amante também versátil, que me deixe fazer as duas coisas.

SB: E você curte “coisas diferentes” na cama?
DB: Gosto de experimentar novas posições e fazer sexo em lugares diferentes. No restante, sou até bem clássico, um cara romântico.

SB: Sua estreia no pornô foi em Distraction, dirigido por Brian Mills, em que você, logo de cara, fazia uma cena a três: ativo com Marco Blaze e passivo para Dean Flynn, é isso?
DB: Exatamente, mas essa foi a minha estreia nos Estados Unidos. Antes, eu já tinha gravado meu primeiro filme com a TitanMen em Praga (República Tcheca), chamado Roadside Pickup.Distraction, porém, foi um filme muito importante para mim, porque tive a oportunidade de trabalhar com dois dos meus ídolos pornôs, Marco Blaze e Dean Flynn.

SB: A TitanMen não faz filmes bareback, que se tornaram uma forte tendência no mercado atual. Como você vê isso?
DB: Só faço sexo seguro, tanto na frente das câmeras quanto na minha vida privada. Estou muito feliz que a empresa tenha essa política. É muito importante que os atores incentivem as pessoas a fazer sexo seguro sempre.

SB: Mas já chegou a atuar com algum ator brasileiro?
DB: Nunca tive o prazer, mas gostaria muito! Gosto dos homens brasileiros. Acho-os muito sensuais, aqueles corpos bronzeados, sotaque suave e brincalhão. Ainda não estive no Brasil, mas quero ir em breve!

SB: Falando em Brasil, boa parte dos atores de nossa indústria são também garotos de programa. Como é isso no exterior?
DB: Muitos astros pornôs oferecem serviços de acompanhante na internet. É uma forma de ganhar mais dinheiro, mas também há muitos atores que têm outros empregos. Há muitos caras que fazem pornô por curiosidade ou fama. Pessoalmente, acho ótimo que se tenha essa liberdade.

SB: Por falar nisso, você, além de ator e modelo, também canta, não?
DB: Amo cantar. Recentemente, postei um vídeo no meu blog (www.dariobeck.com) em que canto no chuveiro. Foi um sucesso no YouTube[risos]. Assim, pode-se ter a oportunidade de gravar novas músicas e vídeos musicais. A verdade é que eu amo música tanto quanto sexo! Sinto a música muito perto de minha sexualidade, fico animado quando eu canto e, quando eu estou excitado, quero cantar.

SB: A mudança do produto DVD para a internet acaba afetando o trabalho dos atores?
DB: Bem, até agora todas as produções de que eu participei foram para DVD e Blu-ray. É verdade que o mercado está mudando para distribuição online, tanto que você pode ver muitas das minhas cenas no site. Para nós, atores, isso significa mais trabalho, o que é uma grande vantagem.

SB: E quais são seus próximos projetos?
DB: Estou preparando um novo projeto no meu blog e também vou filmar um novo filme para a TitanMen. Também tenho feito trabalhos como modelo na Europa e devo ainda gravar algumas faixas de música com um amigo.

SB: Então, para terminar, deixe uma mensagem para seus fãs no Brasil?

Brian Mills is always making fun about my thing for delicious and big american cheeseburgers. I can’t get enough american beef when in USA. Well, now I found a burger that would totally satisfy my appetite: A casino in Minnesota has cooked it up, setting a world record.

“I’d like to order a One-Ton Cheeseburger, with fries, ketchup all over the place, and a diet coke, please!” hehehe!

But this 10 feet diameter burger is no good idea for a drive in or take away, of course! I would have it for Sunday Brunch with friends, skip the salad, actually skip breakfast and dinner and any other meal for that week. And bring lots of beer, wine or gin;  for better digestion. Later, we can always have a “siesta” on top of that spongy bread. Looks comfortable!
